Crest has an ongoing commitment to working with local community groups and not-for-profit organisations.


For example, Crest's Director is a member of the following community / NFP groups: Augusta Margaret River Community Clean Energy (AMRCCE), Surfrider Foundation and Nature Conservation Margaret River. For AMRCCE, Crest completed pro-bono environmental impact assessment for the development of a 15 MW renewable energy plant in the region. Nature Conservation Margaret River contributes to varied conservation and natural resource management programs such as the hairy marron restoration program, citizen science programs and beach clean-ups in the Margaret River region.

Crispin also is a committee member on the Shire of Augusta Margaret Rivers' Margaret River Precinct and Walk / Cycle Trails Commitee. 


Other pro-bono work on community development projects has included the preparation of native vegetation rehabilitation plans for Native Arc wildlife refuge in Bibra Lake, WA.


Crispin Underwood also worked in a volunteer capacity in Nepal in 2008, assisting Engineers Without Borders Nepal in developing and implementing sanitation and water supply projects.
