Crest has an ongoing commitment to working with local community groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Crest's Director is involved with the following community / NFP groups:

• Shire of Augusta Margaret River Offroad Cycle and Walk Trails Reference Group

• MR Independent School: Bushland Management Committee

• AMR Shire Sustainability Reference Group

• Augusta Margaret River Community Clean Energy (AMRCCE): Biodigester and wind farm energy project

• Nature Conservation Margaret River: Western ringtail possum citizen science survey program, hairy marron restoration program.

Other pro-bono work on community development projects has included:

• Volunteer role in Nepal, assisting Engineers Without Borders Nepal in developing and implementing sanitation and water supply projects (for 1 year).

• Native vegetation revegetation plan for Native Arc wildlife refuge in Bibra Lake, WA.
